Several months back, I was watching one of those hunting shows on the outdoors channel hoping to wet my appetite. Being a avid hunter myself, I thought, "This is great!", as they were giving tips on how to stalk prey and drop Bambi's parents like the trouble makers they are. I began tuning in often. What I began to notice, however, and here is the gist of this, there was an alarming pattern developing with many of these shows. My Second Amendment was being defined solely based on "Hunters' Rights."
I realize it was a show about "Hunting", but I still couldn’t figure out why there was such a primary emphasis on defending gun ownership solely based on Hunters' Rights when it is merely a "benefit" of the 2nd Amendment, and not the purpose. This was shocking to me. It frightened me almost as much as the thought of Hillary Rodham Clinton giving a State of the Union Address. This was just wrong! However, it was refreshing to see Hillary was still using the last names of TWO MEN instead of one.
Though their hearts seemed to be in the right place, it seemed as though alot of these hunters were speaking on the defensive and grasping to legitimize gun ownership. So I began to speak with gun owners, in person and on the internet, through chat rooms and bulletin boards like this. Come to find out there are many proponents of the 2nd Amendment who defend gun ownership on the basis of Hunter's Rights, but when I began to tap their intellect, I learned it was more out of fear than ignorance.
When it comes right down to it, many gun owners fear that the government or media may label them as anti-government extremists to be placed on "File" as troublemakers, or that victims of gun violence may be offended by a pro-gun message spoken too loudly. Law abiding American Citizens should not have to fear this from their own government or resort to excuse making to sooth-say victims of gun violence, not to mention the "Salad Committee".
An entire Nation is at stake! We cannot "defend" the 2nd Amendment solely on the basis of "Hunter's Rights". That is why we no longer own many of the firearms we were once allowed to under law. If you get caught in their argument, you'll lose every time. A person is never going to rationalize the idea that an AK-47 and armor-piercing bullets are required to enhance one's ability to "hunt" more efficiently. So why don't we all just quit dancing around the issue and tell it like it is before the only right we're left with is the right to own a compound bow and 2 registered arrows.
"Traitors die! Enemies get shot!" That is how it is written, and that's how it is. It's a real world, and many people do not like what we have here, including many people who happen to live here. The primary purpose for the 2nd Amendment is to empower the People of the United States with the necessary means to put down acts of high treason perpetrated against our Constitution and People, and to secure our Free Nation/State from Government Tyranny and/or foreign occupation. It's the "Enforcer Amendment"! Plain and simple. The Second Amendment is the people's final recourse.
Now, when certain individuals in Government and Media use their positions to intentionally subvert our 2nd Amendment they need to be pointed out, profiled and prosecuted. There is a concerted effort today to wage psycological warfare on Americans by exploiting their fears and emotions to the extent that a significant segment of our population will surrender this liberty for a very false security. We need to recognize this because we are not one-step closer to a safer world for "the children" when this happens, we are one step closer to a Dictatorship for "everyone". And the Euros would deny this, but we are the stabalizer in the world. If we fall, the world falls.
"Gun Control" means "People Control"! You lose the 2nd Amendment, you lose it all! Into slavery we go! There is no "Bill of Rights" in a Dictatorship! Population and it's concerns will be addressed in the context of herd-management with Leninist-style objectivity as it's only guideline. You will have no rights of individual sovereignty or self-determination, and no ability to fight it! You will become a number and you will do as you are told. You will keep your mouth shut and you will like it because your alternative will be imprisonment, death, or horrific medical experimentations.
Look at Hitler's Germany. So aggressive was his "gun-grabbing" program leading up to the invasion of Poland, they offered food, money, even plots of farmland in exchange for people's guns and the German People's cooperation to "grab". Sound familiar? Thereby, the German People surrendered their Freedom. As soon as Hitler had most of the guns the German People were helpless to alter their impending destiny, and his killing machine began to take its course. Look at the price the world paid for a "gun-grabber". It is enough to give you a Cheney!
So why diminish the power of the 2nd Amendment by basing gun ownership on the "Hunters' Rights" argument? Sure it's a genuine concern, but wouldn’t "Hunters' Rights" follow regardless? Isn’t it an issue within the issue? Tell it like it is and apologize to no one for it! I don't rely on "hunters' rights" to defend gun ownership, and quite frankly I could care less what people like Hillary Rodham Clinton think about my outspoken candor. What I think I need a gun for is nobody's damn business but my own, it's MY right to exercise individually, as I see fit, just as it is yours to do so, and she can exercise her's as she sees fit.
Look at the peoples of Europe. How many of them own guns? Next to none! Guess what!? Their murder rate and crime is'nt exactly non-existent. Guess what else!? They're all Sheople now! They can kiss their individual national identies goodbye. They already have in part, look at the Euro. Each of those nations are now STATES/PROVINCES. Those people no longer have the power to enforce their dictates at the voting booth or to bring their individual governments in line with their will. Why don't they have this power? Because they are a disarmed sheople with a common currency and video cameras on every street corner and now answer to the E.U. monster.
Unfortunately, they're so brainwashed by their "REGIONAL" leaders to believe they are still Sovereign Democracies with borders, they wouldn’t recognize Socialism if it sat down at their breakfast table and stole all their oats! After all, look at the ever increasing tude they give us here. I use to think they were just pissy leftists, jealous at what we have and what we are, but I am now starting to think they have a false sense of equitable strength, like they don't need or want our close friendship anymore. And D.C. should take notice! Be careful of what technology you share with NATO, times are a changing.
Anyway, so how do you as an American Citizen expect to enforce your dictates at the voting booth, or even have an opportunity to vote if you are disarmed? It's the power of deterrence and the knowledge that our People can and will rise up bearing arms to put down our leaders if they stray or betray which keeps our Government in line, NOT the Government policing itself and agreeing to act within the framework of our Constitution because they can be trusted to be particularly lawful, moral, ethical or patriotic. Wake up!
We The People are the Government of the United States! Those people in Washington and our respective State Capitals were put there by us to serve us. Do not be intimidated by them into presenting a less than adequate response to the question of gun ownership. The right "shall NOT BE INFRINGED"! We do not owe them an explanation they owe US! End of argument! Americans should never "DEFEND" this right, they must "ASSERT" it, and without apology! We are the power and they are the servant. Realize this!
Now, when certain government officials come down on the side of "gun control" effecting law abiding American Citizens, we need to stand up and send them the strongest possible message: "We WILL own guns to keep YOU in check, and you WILL keep the oath you swore to our Constitution and People. Attempt to alter that balance of power and/or betray that Constitutional arrangement and you will DIE!" This is not a JOKE, and it's not a political SPIN session. It is a matter of life and death on the highest possible scale. An entire Nation is at stake, and quite possibly the world!
This zealous viewpoint may seem shocking and perhaps even insulting to some, but it is the very rationale by which we have "Government of the People, for the People, by the People". It is the very rationale of our revolutionary forefathers, and you have the right endowed to all of us by our Creator, the power of our Constitution and the will of each and every freedom loving one of us to back it up with. That is how it works, and the elite don't have to like you for it. So quit defending gun ownership solely on the basis of "Hunters' Rights", or even "Sportsmanship", "Target Practice", "Competition", or Crime Prevention" for that matter!
The Second Amendment exists for one primary purpose and one primary purpose only. To affect the power of our Constitution by providing you and me and every American Citizen with the necessary means to make it so. That is the true intent of the 2nd Amendment, to secure our free nation/state, and it's non-negotiable. Our leaders know this, but you will not hear people like Obama or Hillary articulating THAT on the Senate floor.
The individual citizen's role in Home Land Security has been largely ignored. This would be unheard of during our Revolution or our Civil War. Even during WWI and WWII the armed citizen was entrusted with a major role in our Civil Defense and he/she was OBLIGATED to do his/her part. The individual citizen should be invited thru Local & State Militia Organizations to meet and train with the National Guard, to set up border watch programs in their border communities like a neighborhood watch. If we are to have "Home Land Security", spying on our neighbors armed with a cell phone just isn’t going to satisfy the need.
If their voting record indicates a propensity to "grab" law abiding Citizen's firearms, or minimize the power of the Second Amendment, then you have a Civil responsibility and a Constitutional obligation as an American Citizen to stand up and tell them boldly and forthright, "Keep your damn hands where we can see 'em!" If they're serious about "Home Land Security", then this should come as a refreshing view on the reality of our existence as a Free People, and, that Free People's active role in helping to secure the means that make it so.
We are not damsels in distress, as it were, who need to be encircled by the Federal Government for our own protection. As "Let's roll" proved, most Americans are more than willing and able to step up to the plate and put their life on the line to protect and defend themselves and their families and friends and this Country if given the opportunity. Tie our hands, sign your death warrant.
